The Saugus High of California girls varsity team handedly won the first Foothill League meet scoring just 21 points on the 3-mile layout at College of the Canyons. All seven girls finished in the top 12 spots. Annika Mark was second in 19:24.3, Sydney Kasahara was third in 19:26.8, Victoria Jamison was fourth in 19:28.2, Sophia Bryant was fifth in 19:32.21, followed by Giselle Ruiz in seventh with a 19:58.3 and Alina Rivas in eighth running 20:08.5. Alana Ruiz rounded out the scoring for the Centurions finishing 12th overall in 20:19.9
